Thomas Tank Barge, Inc. is dedicated to engineering, fabricating, and maintaining the highest quality marine equipment possible. Owner Chris Kennedy's creed -- "We never build to minimum standards" -- is evidenced throughout the family-owned marine facility.

History
Chris, after working in the marine construction field since 1984, founded Kennedy Construction in 1998. Chris was inspired by his father, Thomas Kennedy, and his grandfather, Kyle Smithson, both builders in their own right.
Kennedy Construction is a multi-faceted marine building facility, located in the heart of the Galveston, Texas, shipping area on Harborside Drive. The company’s primary focus is marine-related design and construction of marine craft. This includes barge/vessel launch and retrieval systems (predominantly tilt beam configuration), excavation, concrete placement, rail transfer systems and wharfage and waterfront land development.
Seeing the opportunity to concentrate further on engineering, fabricating, and maintaining marine equipment, Chris incorporated Thomas Tank Barge, Inc. in 2014.
